I have always viewed life in terms of color, texture, shape and pattern. They are the building blocks of my work.
Hand knitting, weaving, felting and looming techniques are combined to create fabric in vibrant colors with sophisticated textures. The word yarn is a term loosely used to describe a vast number of fibers and materials that are used to create lush fabrics. Ribbons, lace, feathers, suede and many other interesting found objects are used to complete one of a kind designs. These elements are combined to make sweaters and jackets as well as handbags and scarves.
